SDÉCB Annual Report 2022-2023
Context
The SDÉCB is a francophone organization with an economic focus operating at the provincial level in B.C. as a non-profit entity. It offers programs, services, and catalyzes initiatives that promote the success of francophones within the economic fabric.As part of their non-profit duties, the organization delivers an annual report (in French) summarizing their achievements, along with an executive summary (in French and English).
Process
Due to environmental considerations, the SDÉCB informed me that they did not want to produce a printed version of their annual report this year; instead, they wanted to create an online version.
Keeping this criterion in mind, I suggested changing the dimensions of both the report and executive summary to a landscape format, ensuring an optimized user experience on screens. Consequently, an interactive PDF with a "home button" (called "Table des matières" in the footer) was created to facilitate readers' navigation between different sections of the report.
Results
The SDÉCB successfully distributed their new annual report to entrepreneurs following their general assembly through a newsletter. Entrepreneurs were able to conveniently access the documents from the comfort of their homes.
